Overview

Role Definition

Quality assurance Executive should plan the visit schedule to vendors for inspection , vendor
approval, quality approval, sample development, product development and do the inspection as
per format approved by management and report to marketing team and concern head for
approval and disapproval of quality of the product.

Tasks and Activities

1. Take initial quality round in factory.
2. Inspect the storage place where goods are stored.
3. Take 20 random cartons for cotton and 5 random cartons for filament from ready material.
4. Check gross weight, net weight and individual cone weight for cone to cone weight variation.
5. Physical checking of cones for winding faults, paper cone condition, stickers, tail end and
adaptor.
6. Checking condition of cartons, pallets, on carton stickers and shipping instruction.
7. Take 100 cones for ultraviolet checking for cone to cone shade variation and for contamination
checking.
8. Take 20 random cones for lab testing.
9. Reporting as per approved format by management.
10. Arranging knitting trials for quality checking.
11. Arranging samples for 3rd party quality checking.
12. Arranging samples for exhibition display and product development.
13. Attending quality complaints and issues.
14. Coordinating with marketing team for proper arrangement of inspection from same area.
15. Sharing report with concern person and head of department.
16. Evaluate supplier every year based on quality standards
