Overview
Responsibilities
· Support Regional Safety Management to meet Statutory Safety Requirements.
· Drives, and conduct safety awareness programmes, campaigns, and roadshows in promoting safety as a culture in Nigeria.
· Plan and perform Safety reviews of contractor facilities/services and monitor to ensure compliance to safety standard and Global best practice.
· Manage contractors’ site activities, review contractors’ safety documents, analyze the task, conduct induction with the Job Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment and ensure compliance to safety standards and precautionary measures.
· Conduct routine facility inspections, identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions, put suitable controls to mitigate risks and prevent workplace accidents.
QUALIFICATION
BSc. or HND in relevant field, ISPON Membership, NEBOSH and/or IOSH Certificates, Minimum 4 years’ experience in the field of Safety/HSE.
Ispon certification and membership.
