🎯 Role Overview
We are looking for a part-time Android Developer who is passionate about building high-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Kotlin and Java, a strong understanding of Android SDK, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote team.
🔧 Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java
Collaborate with backend developers and UI/UX teams to create smooth, functional experiences
Optimize application performance and memory usage
Fix bugs and improve application stability across devices and OS versions
Ensure code quality and maintainability through proper architecture and testing
Integrate third-party SDKs, APIs, and libraries
Contribute ideas for improving app functionality and user experience
✅ Required Skills
4+ years of Android development experience
Proficiency in Kotlin and Java
Solid understanding of Android components like Activities, Fragments, Services, Room DB, LiveData, ViewModel, etc.
Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries (Retrofit, Glide, Firebase, etc.)
Knowledge of MVVM architecture
Familiarity with version control (Git)
Good understanding of Google Play Store deployment and updates
💡 Nice to Have
Experience with Jetpack Compose
Background in writing unit and UI tests
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
Experience working with remote or distributed teams
