IBM Integration – Production Senior Application Support

DESCRIPTION :

 

Must Have: A minimum 8 years of experience in IBM integration tools with leadership experience
Preferred Gender: Male
Basic requirements
• Minimum 8 years of proven experience supporting complex IT applications.
• Having in-depth knowledge of:
• Extensible Markup Language (XML), XML Schema Tools (XSTL), XML Schema Definition (XSD), XML Path (XPath).
• Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), Web Services Description Language (WSDL).
• JSON and other messaging standards.
• IBM Integration Bus (IIB v9 and above) and App Connect (ACE).
• IBM DP, IBM API Connect.
• IBM WebSphere Message Queue (MQ), TCP/IP, MQ protocols.
• Transport protocols (TCP/IP, FTP, etc.)
• Event based integration, pub-sub, synchronous-asynchronous.
• REST API and HTTP Protocol Standards.
• Extensively used PL/SQL queries to interact with Oracle database, DB2.
• Good knowledge of IBM BPM, IBM ODM.
• Familiar with Unix based OS.
Preferred Requirements
• Fair knowledge of OpenShift platform and Kubernetes.
• Java Development.
• Knowledge of JDBC, ODBC.
• Knowledge of WTX/ITX.
• Structured Query Language (ESQL) development.
• Familiarity with common banking enterprise services/Systems (Core Banking, Bank Channels “Digital & Others”, Treasury, Cards, Payments, System Integration, Open APIs, …).
• In-depth knowledge of business flows including (SADAD Bills, SADAD MOI, Yakeen).

• Work experience in
• Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Agile (Scrum).
• Integration Development Routine.

• Ability to develop collaborative relationship with business and technical team and communicate to management in clear and concise manner.

What are the 3-5 main deliverables in this role?
• Diagnosing and resolving production issues while ensuring optimal performance and usability for the various system users and providing root cause analysis with recommendations for improvements.
• Provide L1 & L2 support to all Integration support related activities including APIs, Gateways, Enterprise Service Bus, IBM ODM/BPM.
• Engaged in production support activities by investigating incoming issues, for example: provide logs/exception lists related to the incident and doing root cause analysis.
• Engaged in production environment activities such as DRC, datacenter migration, on demand monitoring, etc.
• Supporting production code deployments.
• Providing hot fixes to production issues.
• Fixing L1&L2 production issues – following SDLC cycle.
