About the Job:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team in Dubai.
As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing our day-to-day financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.
Responsibilities:
● Manage day-to-day accounting tasks using Zoho Books as our primary accounting platform.
● Maintain accurate inventory records that reflect in both Zoho and Shopify platforms.
● Prepare various financial reports, including vendor reports, customer statements, and monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports.
● Perform administrative tasks when required, such as handling calls regarding deliveries, operations, and cash management.
● Integrate Zoho Books with our Shopify online store, ensuring seamless synchronization of data.
● Handle Stripe payments and ensure integration with Zoho for online payments.
● Prepare and file VAT returns and handle VAT registration requirements.
● Prepare and file corporate tax
● Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
● Collaborate with team members to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
● 1-2 years of experience in accounting and financial management.
● Proficiency in using Zoho Books and Shopify platforms.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
● Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
● Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
● Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations is a plus.
