HUB OPERATORS
ColdHubs Limited, is a social enterprise that designs, assembles, installs and commissions 100% solar powered walk-in cold rooms in marketplaces and farm clusters, for smallholder farmers, retailers and wholesalers to store and preserve fruits, vegetables and other perishable food 24/7 and extend their shelf life from 2 days to 21 days.
ColdHubs aims to eliminate the impact of food spoilage; facing 470 million smallholder farmers globally due to lack of reliable and well-situated cold storage.
Our solar powered walk-in cold rooms branded as – ColdHubs; are specially designed to eliminate losses of fruits, vegetables and other perishable food due to lack of reliable cold storage completely and increases the income of farmers and retailers because, previous losses have been eliminated.
We seek to hire full time HUB OPERATORS
The selected candidate will oversee the entire Hub operations.
Position: HUB OPERATOR
Locations: Port-Harcourt, Benin, Akure, Owerri, Ore, Abeokuta, Ado-Ekiti, Obinze, Ogere (Ogun State).
Requirement:
· Degree/HND in food sciences or related course with 2-5 years work experience as a hub operator or in similar role.
· Marketing Experience
· Customer Relationship Experience
· Familiarity with Knowledge of at least 2 languages; English and Native language of the Environment.
· Smart, Dedicated, Hardworking and Self-motivated individuals.
Responsibilities:
· Regularly monitor the temperature within the cold storage facility to ensure it meets the required standards for preserving goods.
· Keep track of inventory stored in the cold room, ensuring accurate record of quantities, types of products and expiration dates via coldvite app.
· Loading and unloading of goods into and from the cold room ensuring proper handling to maintain product integrity.
· Conduct regular inspection of stored goods to ensure they meet quality standards and report any issue or discrepancies.
· Maintain accurate record and documentation relates to the temperature logs, inventory and equipment maintenance.
· Ensure compliance to safety regulations and guidelines to guarantee a secure working environment for both personnel and stored goods.
· Identify and troubleshoot minor issues related to temperature control, equipment malfunctions or other operational challenges.
