I’m helping Elite DNA Behavioral Health find a top candidate to join their team full-time for the role of Mental Health Therapist.
This is a cool job because you’ll get to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and support diverse patients through personalized care.
Compensation:
USD 50K – 60K/year.
+ Bonuses (up to 20% of base compensation)

Location:
Hybrid (4310 Metro Parkway, Fort Myers, FL, USA).

-You are proficient in clinical assessment, diagnosis, therapy, and treatment planning.
–English – Fully fluent.
Responsibilities and more:
-Clinical Assessment & Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans with patients and their families.
-Therapeutic Interventions: Provide evidence-based therapy, including individual, group, couples, and family counseling, tailored to diverse populations and age groups.
-Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes within the electronic health record system, adhering to agency timelines.
-Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, care coordinators, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic patient care.
-Patient Advocacy: Assist patients in accessing community resources and support systems, advocating for their needs and facilitating referrals when necessary.
-Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and supervision to enhance clinical skills and stay current with best practices in mental health care.
Qualifications & Requirements:
-Educational Background: Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
-Licensure: Active Florida licensure (e.g., LMHC, LCSW, LMFT) or eligibility for licensure; supervision provided for Registered Interns.
-Clinical Experience: Demonstrated experience in providing therapy to diverse populations, with strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
-Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with proficiency in documentation and electronic health records.
-Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
-Cultural Competence: Sensitivity to and respect for diverse cultural backgrounds and practices.
