Fiscale’s Next Tax Accountant

We’re looking for a Tax Accountant to join our team who will be responsible for managing our third party tax relationships and software, managing sales, use and corporate income tax compliance, and assisting our accounting team with reporting and close activities. This role will allow you the opportunity to utilize and build your tax skills through regular interaction with tax professionals as well as develop and grow your accounting skills alongside a bright and talented finance team.

Responsibilities:

– Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.

– Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to identify potential tax savings opportunities and mitigate tax risks.

– Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information and documentation for tax filing purposes.

– Provide expert advice and guidance on tax planning strategies, including optimizing deductions and credits, minimizing tax liabilities, and maximizing tax efficiency.

– Stay updated on changes to tax laws and regulations to ensure adherence to current tax requirements and identify opportunities for clients.

– Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and regulatory authorities to address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional client service.

Required Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

– Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax accounting or related roles.

– Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.

– Proficiency in tax preparation software and MS Office Suite.

– Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

– Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis and reporting.

– Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

– Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or equivalent certification.

– Experience working in a public accounting firm or corporate tax department.

– Familiarity with tax planning and consulting services.

– Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.

We continuously analyze and update our salary ranges for our roles according to market trends to not only ensure our employees are paid fairly, but also help close gender, race, and disability wage gaps. Along with the benefits listed above, the salary range for this role is $60,000 to $103,000.
