We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Shopify Developer to join our growing team.
Position Overview:
As a Shopify Developer at our company, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Shopify websites and apps for our clients. You will work closely with our sales and customer care teams to ensure the solutions we create are highly functional, user-friendly, and aligned with the unique requirements of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop custom Shopify websites and apps using best practices in Shopify development.
2. Collaborate with sales team to understand client requirements and create solutions that meet their needs.
3. Work closely with the customer care team to resolve client-facing issues and provide technical support.
4. Ensure seamless integration of apps and websites with client systems.
5. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Shopify development to continually improve our processes and deliverables.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the websites and apps, ensuring minimal impact on the client’s business operations.
7. Provide documentation and training for clients and internal team members on website and app features and usage.
8. Participate in project meetings, providing updates on development progress and any challenges encountered.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Shopify development, including website and app development.
3. Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web development technologies.
4. Strong understanding of the Shopify ecosystem, including Liquid template language and app development.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
6. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
7. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
8. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and delivering the best possible solutions for our clients.
Requirements:
1. Experience with other eCommerce platforms (e.g., WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce) is a plus.
2. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
3. Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and best practices, including CSS frameworks like Bootstrap.
