Overview

Loan Officer assesses their client’s finances to help them choose the correct loan products for their situation. They also offer financial advice to help clients manage their debts and loans. They may also advise clients on investment strategies and help them develop a plan to attain their individual financial goals. They are responsible for guiding individuals in making decisions about their financials, filing applications for them, and providing them with solutions to their various financial difficulties.

Responsibilities

Develop deep relationships with agents in the markets where we operate
Be a local market expert- sharing insights with teammates to develop a reputation as an approachable expert.
Help us iterate the customer mortgage experience by constantly sharing feedback
Be a point contact for any customer or agent escalation from their original Loan Officer or Processor
Mentor and model subject matter expertise relating to product information, sales techniques, and/or loan structuring help
Manage a pipeline of pre-approved customers, with a focus on the more complex loans and VIP clients/referral partners, to be shepherded through to a quick, smooth closing
Track the market team’s pipeline to ensure loans are closed on time and with quality
Be committed to understanding the full picture of a customer before engaging- to ensure you can provide an “above the bar” experience..
