Marketing Expert – Social media, online and offline marketing

 

Marketing and sales Executive:

 

• develop and implement a marketing plan and marketing strategy

• create awareness of and develop the brand

• advertising, direct marketing and campaigns

• source advertising opportunities and place adverts in the press or on the radio

• work closely with external creative agencies to design marketing materials such as brochures, banners, graphics and adverts

• write and proofread marketing copy for both online and offline campaigns

• produce creative content, including videos, newletters and blog posts

• Social Media Management (content creation, posting, promotion, engagement and sales)

• organise and attend events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions

• source and secure sponsorship

• liaise with designers and printers and organise photo shoots

• arrange the effective distribution of marketing materials

• maintain and update customer databases

• conduct market research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups

• Offline Marketing Displays in strategic places for target audience.

• Social Media Mgt (Content, Promotion, Engagement and Sales)

• Online marketing adverts (website flash promo)

• Website Management (content/package update, functionality, promotion and sales). Traffic drive to the site, lead generation and sales of products.

• Email marketing campaign management

• SMS blast campaigns

• Develop and ensure indirect online sales through 3rd party e-commerce platform Eg. Vconnect, Jiji etc.

• Ensure direct online sales on our Website & Social Media sales using electronic delivery

• Identify and target sales lead

• Convert leads into prospects and functional/productive accounts

• Build and maintain relationships with clients

• Prospect clients (Corporate, Government, other Organisations) and understand their needs

• Customer relationship management

• Manage current accounts and customers

• Organize regular client meetings to discuss their requirements and present your offer

• Resolve problems and handle complaints in a timely manner

• Identify new potential customers

• Stay up-to-date with new features and product offer

 

Qualifications/ competencies

 

Marketing and sales Executive:

• Education/Certifications: BSc in Marketing, Social Sciences or any related discipline with a minimum of Second class Lower (2:2).

• Experience: 2 – 5 years’ work experience in related field.

• Demonstrated ability to set goals and achieve them

• Understanding of sales process

• Experience in account management

• Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of operating standard office equipment.

• Excellent verbal communication, presentation, negotiation, command of English and management skills.

• Good writing skills for drafting cover letters and emails

• Excellent Research & Feedback skills.

• Excellent use of initiative and proactive approach in delivering tasks.

• Problem-solving attitude.

• A customer-oriented attitude.

• Ability to work well with a team.

• Effective coordination skills.
