Country Director Role
Are you passionate about research and ready to lead from the front? M31 Research is seeking full-time Country Directors for our newly formed Malawi, Kenya, and Zimbabwe Offices. The director will be responsible for overseeing a range of day-to-day operations, covering both in-house staff and consultants.
Role Description
Provide overall technical, management, and financial oversight of the M31 Country Operations, including managing stakeholder/partner relations and ensuring technical and management excellence.
Responsibilities
– Develop, Implement, Coordinate and oversee field research operations or protocols
– Recruit, Train and Supervise field staff as per project
– Maintaining up-to-date knowledge and skills as technology
– Data analysis and management
– Provide regular updates to the Chief Executive Officer located at our headquarters
– Project drafting and documentation for prospective clients
– Ensure data accuracy and adherence to timelines
– Organize transportation and logistics for field staff
– Foster collaboration between management and field staff
– Market research on potential leads
– Attending pre- bid conferences and industry events
Should be hardworking and passionate about research
Qualifications and Experience
– Education Qualifications in a relevant field from a credible Institution (Master’s degree preferred)
– Proven experience in managing field operations
– Strong organizational and leadership skills
– Working experience in Qualitative and Quantitative data analysis
– Excellent communication and problem solving skills
– Innovative and a self starter
– Skill in research proposal writing is an added advantage
– Must reside in Lilongwe, Nairobi, or Harare.
– Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced research environment.
