A leading Insurance Brokerage Firm seeks to employ the services of a well-experienced and result-oriented Branch Manager to identify business growth, develop and implement strategies to meet organizational objectives, set goals as well as delegate tasks for a more efficient team.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • He/She will be responsible for the development, performance, governance, and administration of sales managers.
  • Responsible for the development and performance of all Life Insurance sales activities in the company.
  • Manage and coordinate the recruitment, training, and motivate sales managers and Reps to achieve the branch targets from time to time.
  • Manage all administrative and customer service issues related to the branch.
  • Manage and coordinate branch activities and resources.
  • Develop corporate businesses and build sales prospects for the branch sales teams.
  • Report on performance according to set timelines.
  • Designing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies.
  • Capable of working under reasonable pressure
  • Ability to develop action plans for improving sales performance.

COMPETENCES & QUALIFICATIONS

  • First Degree in Marketing or related field with a Master’s in Business Management or Marketing.
  • Certificate, Diploma or Advanced Diploma in insurance from the Ghana Insurance College or the CII-UK will be an advantage.
  • Minimum of  eight (8) years of proven work experience where 3 years relate to similar experience.
  • Life insurance sales experience will be an advantage.
  • Proven track record of success in Life Insurance Sales and Management roles.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make result-oriented decisions.
