Overview
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Specialist to join our oil and gas team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing supply chain operations, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services, and driving cost savings.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction
– Manage relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and other stakeholders
– Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
– Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, operations, and logistics
– Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
– 5-8 years of experience in supply chain management within the oil and gas industry.
– Experience in local and foreign sourcing.
– Experience in oil and gas procurement processes and documentation/ reporting.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
– Experience with supply chain software and systems (e.g., ERP, TMS)
Preferred Qualifications:
– Master’s degree in Supply Chain or related field.
– Experience with oil and gas industry-specific supply chain challenges.
– Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM)
