Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and manage our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive business growth. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing a team of sales representatives, and ensuring that sales targets and KPIs are met.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy Development:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives, increase revenue, and expand market share.
Team Leadership:
Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales representatives. Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to ensure the team’s success.
Sales Performance Monitoring:
Set sales targets, track team performance, and ensure the achievement of sales goals. Provide regular performance reports to senior management.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients. Understand customer needs and work to resolve issues to ensure high satisfaction levels.

Market Research and Analysis:
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and adapt strategies as needed.

Sales Forecasting:
Prepare and manage accurate sales forecasts. Use sales data and insights to adjust strategies and ensure growth targets are met.
Collaboration with Other Departments:
Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to align sales initiatives with company objectives.
Sales Training and Development:
Organize and conduct training sessions to enhance the skills of the sales team. Ensure they are knowledgeable about the company’s products/services and sales techniques.
Budget Management:
Oversee the sales department’s budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to drive results.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
Experience:
Minimum of 6 years of experience in sales, with at least 4 years in a sales management role.
Leadership Skills:
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team, fostering a high-performance culture.
Sales Knowledge:
Strong understanding of sales principles, processes, and techniques.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends to drive decisions.
Problem-Solving:
Ability to identify challenges and implement effective solutions.
Tech-Savvy:
Familiarity with CRM software and MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Additional Skills:
Negotiation and closing skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in tool and die manufacturing such as: Plastic Injection Molding, Metal Casting, Automotive and Aerospace etc.
Knowledge of additional sales tools or platforms.
Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field.
