Overview

·         Responsible for the effective management of all and maintenance operations within the facility, including energy conservation.

 

·         Carry out various maintenance duties to ensure that the general upkeep and maintenance of the premises is satisfactory

·         Performing routine maintenance on facilities and making repairs as needed

·         Scheduling routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors

·         Direct working relationship with the contractors on site for repair and maintenance work, while ensuring that their presence has been recorded, and that they adhere to all health, safety and emergency procedures.

·         Carry out a preventative, planned maintenance program and undertake routine inspections of the buildings, fixtures, fittings, premises and grounds to assess for minor works or repairs required.

·         Ensure the adequate security of buildings at all times

·         Regularly inspect exterior of buildings, doors and fabrics

·         Create asset register and plan preventive maintenance schedule also update as at when due

·         Manage facility officers, technicians, supervisors, for inspections and excellent daily service delivery on assigned projects

·         Communicate to coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities for the store, Hotel, and business units

·         Develop systems and procedures to ensure the health and safety of customers and Team Members, as well as the proper conditions for plants, machinery, and property

·         Prepare repairs and maintenance budgets for facility maintenance ensuring that basic facilities are well-maintained and conducting proactive maintenance

·         Dealing with emergencies as they arise

·         managing budgets

·         Ensuring that facilities meet compliance standards and government regulations

·         Planning for the future by forecasting the facility’s upcoming needs and requirements

·         Overseeing any renovations, refurbishments, and building projects

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

B.Sc / BA in Facility Management, Engineering, Estate Management, Facility Management, or relevant field

Minimum  7 years  experience as a facilities manager or relevant position
