Job Title: HR Operations Specialist (Compensation & Benefits Focus)

Remuneration: 250k – 350k Gross
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and analytical HR Operations Specialist with deep expertise in Compensation & Benefits to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth running of HR operations, with a strong focus on accurate payroll management, statutory compliance, and employee reward systems. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of HR processes within the logistics or supply chain industry, and be capable of handling a fast-paced, people-driven environment.
📌 Key Responsibilities
➡️ Compensation & Benefits
– Administer and process monthly payroll in compliance with statutory regulations (PAYE, Pension, NHF, NSITF, etc.).
– Work with HRBPs to collate employees’ data, KPIs and approvals from departmental heads.
– Ensure timely and accurate remittance of statutory deductions.
– Conduct salary benchmarking and analysis to support competitive compensation strategies.
– Implement and manage employee benefits programs (health insurance, leave policies, bonuses, etc.).
– Track overtime, shift differentials, fleet driver incentives, and other logistics-related pay components.
– Prepare compensation-related reports for internal and audit purposes.
➡️ HR Operations
– Maintain and update HRIS and employee records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
– Support HR policy implementation and ensure alignment with labour laws and company culture.
– Support performance management cycles and advise on compensation alignment with performance.
– Address employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and general HR policies.
– Assist in HR reporting, metrics tracking, and workforce analytics for decision-making.
– Collaborate with Finance and Compliance teams for periodic internal/external audits.
📌 Requirements
↔️ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
↔️ 3-5 years’ experience in HR Operations, with proven competence in Compensation & Benefits.
↔️ Prior experience in the logistics, transportation, or supply chain sector is a strong advantage.
↔️ Solid knowledge of Nigerian labour laws, tax regulations, and statutory payroll frameworks.
↔️ Proficient in Handling and managing Payroll, Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must.
↔️ Ability to write and tweak excel functions and formulars
↔️ Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
↔️ Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
↔️ High attention to detail and discretion in handling sensitive employee information.
Remuneration: 250k – 350k Gross
