Train, lead, and manage the team of engineers across medical functions and specialty equipment
• Manage client expectations by maintaining records on maintenance contracts
• Build strong after-sales service by setting policies and ensuring the technical team abides by them
• Control the purchasing of spare parts and high medical equipment demands
• Coordinate with suppliers to schedule adequate team training in order to stay updated with novelties
• Ensure that physical inventory levels are monitored and replenished as needed
• Act as the company’s ISO representative and ensure all processes are implemented and maintained
• Maintain excellent relations with current and new clients in order to issue maintenance contracts
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers, vendors, and customers
• Develop pricing strategy for new business ventures and clients
• Follow up on payments and ensure all dues are settled as per agreed timeframes
• Assist in the Technical recruitment part along with the HR Department
• Manage and minimize work-related injuries and unexpected hiccups by designing effective risk control processes
• Manage diverse projects and ensure client supply is available and up to date
• Set the department’s goals and achievements by person to achieve success
• Coach and advise closely the employees to achieve better results
• Take full charge of direct reports’ or direct managers’ responsibilities where agreed and necessary for a delineated and temporary emergency/transitional period of time
• Prepare and monitor departmental budgets using cost and managerial accounting principles
• Limit breakdown time as per company’s rules and regulations
• Assess the market by getting feedback, benchmark competition (new products/brands) and be aware of any new bids or pitches
• Monitor spare parts stock and ensure minimum usage of spare parts
