Job Brief:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing forklift trucks and other material handling equipment to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on forklifts.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Maintain detailed service records and reports.
• Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to minimize equipment downtime.
• Recommend necessary parts replacements and upgrades.
Requirements:
• OND / Trade Test in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience maintaining forklifts and related material handling equipment
• Proven experience as a forklift technician or related role.
• Strong knowledge of forklift mechanics, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Certification in forklift repair and maintenance (preferred).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Minimum of trade test certified
