Overview
We are a local oil/gas service company looking for an experienced Oil and Gas Laboratory Specialist with strong industrial experience in conventional and special laboratory testing to join our team in Yemen. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing a new oil and gas laboratory business from the ground up, including project management, procurement and purchase of equipment & chemicals and marketing the service.
Responsibilities:
• Develop a comprehensive business plan for the laboratory
• Recruit and hire qualified staff
• Purchase necessary equipment and supplies
• Market the laboratory and attract new customers
• Monitor operations and ensure safety standards are met
• Expand services to include additional testing and analysis
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 5+ years of experience in a laboratory in the oil and gas industry
• Knowledge of laboratory operations and safety protocols
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Fluency in English Language is a must.
