Job Description

We are looking for a qualified Community manager to join our team. We would like to meet you if you are a tech-savvy professional with experience in social media, public relations, and promotional events.

Our ideal candidate has excellent oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to create engaging content. You should be a ‘people person with excellent customer service skills and the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with our community.

Finally, you should be able to serve as the brand’s face and voice, as well as manage all community communications.

Responsibilities

1.       Set up and carry out social media and communication campaigns to support marketing strategies.

2.       Create interesting text, image, and video content for your social media accounts.

3.       Respond to comments and customer inquiries as soon as possible.

4.       Feedback and online reviews should be monitored and reported on.

5.       Organize and participate in community-building and brand-awareness events.

6.       To ensure brand consistency, collaborate with the marketing, public relations, and communications teams.

7.       Keep in touch with the Development and Sales departments to stay up to date on new products and features.

8.       Keep up with the latest digital technology trends.

 

Qualifications and Abilities

Work experience as a community manager is required.

1.       Extensive knowledge of launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series and writing an email newsletter)

2.       Capability to identify and track community metrics (e.g. repeat attendance at events)

3.       Outstanding verbal communication abilities

4.       Excellent writing abilities

5.       Hands-on experience with brand social media management

6.       Understanding of website traffic and online customer engagement metrics

7.       familiarity with online marketing and marketing channels

8.       Detail-orientedness and the ability to multitask

9.       BSc in Marketing or a related field

 

Salary

N150,000 – N200,000
