Compensation
• Monthly Salary: XOF 2,000,000 – 5,000,000 (negotiable) – Mali
• Annual Salary: 39,000 – 90,000 ZMW (negotiable) – Zambia
• Additional Benefits: Commission bonus + business travel allowance
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive business development and market expansion within the residential and commercial energy storage sector.
This role focuses on client acquisition, channel development, OEM partnerships, and converting market opportunities into executed projects. The ideal candidate understands local energy markets and can independently manage the full sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and develop relationships with new and existing customers.
• Convert customer needs and project plans into confirmed sales orders.
• Develop brand agents and establish effective sales channels.
• Expand the sales network through OEM and strategic customer partnerships.
• Conduct market research to track product standards, demand trends, and competitor activity.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to deliver customer projects.
• Lead business negotiations and manage long-term client relationships.
• Support project execution and resolve key after-sales issues to improve customer satisfaction.
• Provide regular feedback on market dynamics and sales performance.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Energy, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales within:
• Energy storage
• Solar / photovoltaic systems
• Inverters, lithium batteries, or system integration
• Strong understanding of the new energy market and competitive landscape.
• Proven ability to independently manage sales activities and close deals.
• Excellent market analysis, negotiation, and execution skills.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
