Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Joinery Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and high-quality shop drawings for joinery and interior fit-out projects, ensuring that all designs meet project specifications, manufacturing capabilities, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed shop drawings, joinery layouts, and fabrication details for furniture, doors, wardrobes, kitchens, and other interior fit-out elements.
• Interpret architectural and interior design drawings to develop precise joinery details.
• Coordinate with project managers, production teams, and site engineers to ensure drawings are practical and feasible for manufacturing and installation.
• Revise and update drawings as per site conditions and client feedback.
• Maintain drawing standards, layers, and templates to ensure consistency across all projects.
• Conduct material take-offs and provide technical support to the estimation and production departments.
• Ensure all drawings comply with company quality standards and project timelines.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Diploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in joinery or interior fit-out drafting.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (mandatory); knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or SolidWorks is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of joinery materials, hardware, and manufacturing techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills
