Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Video Editor to join our creative team. As a Video Editor at Mark Space, you will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished project that aligns with our brand and meets the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of storytelling, and proficiency in video editing software.
Responsibilities:
Edit and assemble raw footage into a polished, high-quality video product
Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals and objectives
Ensure visual consistency and adhere to the brand guidelines
Incorporate music, sound effects, and graphics to enhance the final product
Stay updated on industry trends and implement innovative editing techniques
Meet project deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
Strong understanding of storytelling and visual aesthetics
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Knowledge of current video trends and techniques
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
Requirements:
Must have a laptop.
Portfolio showcasing previous video editing work
Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Video Editing, or related field (preferred)
Availability to work remotely.
