Responsibilities
Procurement Buyer must possess these skill sets:
*Negotiating prices with vendors to obtain the best price for products or services
*Researching market trends to determine the best time to purchase certain items..
*Coordinating with other departments to ensure all purchases meet the company’s needs.
*Determining which vendors are most qualified to meet the company’s needs for products or services.
*Monitoring inventory levels of supplies and ordering additional stock as needed
*Reviewing bids from prospective suppliers to ensure that they comply with company standards
*Developing a Purchasing plan based on the company’s strategic goal
*Reviewing proposals from vendors and selecting those who will receive contracts.
*Coordinating with the legal department to draft contracts with suppliers..
Requirements
*Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree with 1-5years of work experience.
