RPOA believes that in order to implement successful projects in Afghanistan as well as foster peace and stability, all operations must adhere to the seven core values.

Our offer of assistance is not an externally based intervention, but, rather, it takes the form of training and coaching the local communities to tackle their own problems. Ownership and a change in thinking and doing are central to the adoption of such an approach. In this way, the Afghan people themselves can become the engine of their own change.

RPOA trains participants to learn and apply this perspective and accompanying skills in the areas of self-sufficiency, resource mobilization, conflict resolution and strategic thinking and planning. This enables train participants of various backgrounds to develop their leadership potential and entrepreneurial skills.

Beside leadership, entrepreneurship and management, RPOA also focuses on health, human development, and food security. Through these value trainings, RPOA aims to support local communities to be healthy, socially and financially strong and independent, and to assist in creating communities that cooperate in a healthy society
