Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Psychiatrist to provide mental health services within a correctional healthcare setting in DeLano, CA. This role involves comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, ongoing treatment, medication management, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct psychiatric assessments and provide ongoing mental health care.
Develop and update treatment plans and medication regimens.
Work closely with healthcare and custody staff to support patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards.
Provide crisis intervention and support when needed.
Requirements
Active and unrestricted California medical license.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
Previous experience in correctional or inpatient settings is an advantage.
Strong communication, clinical decision-making, and documentation skills.
