Job description
Apply hardware, and electrical engineering skills to design, build and test innovate IoT products to meet customer expectations.
Develop IoT products by designing, building and testing electronics and firmware according to Spectro Systems product roadmap.
Prototype, design, develop, test and deploy devices in the field with actual use.
Schematic capture, PCB layout, prototyping and testing of fixture designs
Control and Release products electrical BOM.
Coordinate with suppliers to resolve component issues and drive initial component availability
Designs and develops IoT edge software modules that interacts with sensors, wireless transmission devices.
Determine product specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.
Ensure cost effectiveness of the final products through proper selections of electronics components and optimizing BoM
Work cross functionally with business and product teams to ensure that our products’ specifications and costs are meeting market needs.
Ensure manufacturability and testability are accounted for in new designs by participating in design reviews and whiteboard discussions with teammates.

Bachelors in engineering, preferably Electrical/Electronics from an accredited institution.
3+ years of progressive hands-on experience in hardware design and firmware development.
Solid ability to design analog and digital electronics.
Proficiency in Embedded C/C++ and Python.
Experience working with wireless communication, especially for WiFi and BLE.
