Overview
● Bachelor’s degree and above in Computer Science, or similar is strongly preferred
● 5+ years of exposure in overall programming experience
● Experience with Node.js and Typescript
● Understanding of functional programming (solid experience with Lodash, Ramda, and ES6)
● Experience with data stores such as Redis, MongoDB and Elasticsearch
● Good command over queueing systems like node-resque or Temporal workflows
● Good grasp message brokers, and distributed work/batch processing (experience implementing a
multi-step data ingestion pipeline is a big plus)
● Solid understanding of distributed computing principles and techniques, including scalability, fault tolerance, and consistency
● Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
● Excellent problem-solving skills & communication skills, including good practices on logging, tracing and alerting on the status of a system
● Brings positive thinking and ability to work constructively in a team setting
