Role Overview

CIMARA COMPANY LTD is seeking a highly skilled and seasoned Senior Engineer to provide technical leadership and oversee our engineering projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring technical excellence, managing complex project life cycles, and mentoring junior engineers. You will serve as the primary technical authority between field operations and executive management.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Oversee the technical design and execution of engineering projects to ensure they meet international standards and specific technical requirements.

• Project Management: Lead project planning and execution, ensuring all engineering milestones are achieved on schedule and within budget.

• Advanced Reporting: Analyze site data and prepare high-level technical progress reports (including advanced data entry in Excel and structural analysis).

• Quality & Safety Oversight: Implement Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) protocols to ensure a zero-accident and high-standard environment.

• Strategic Resource Management: Optimize the allocation of materials and equipment to maximize efficiency across multiple sites.

• Complex Problem Solving: Address and resolve high-level technical challenges or design conflicts immediately to maintain project momentum.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: A minimum of 6 years of proven experience in a Senior Engineering role, specifically within construction, civil, or structural engineering.

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, or related field)

• Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel (for complex reporting and data analysis).

o Advanced ability to interpret and critique technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD designs.

• Leadership: Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to lead and mentor diverse engineering teams.

• Attributes: Strategic thinker with a high level of integrity, professional ethics, and the ability to deliver under high-pressure conditions.

• Languages: Must be able to speak English as a language and French
