Overview
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Forklift Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of forklift drivers and ensure efficient and secure movement of goods within the facility. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills, hands-on experience with forklift operations, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate activities of forklift operators across shifts.
- Ensure all forklift operations comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor loading, unloading, stacking, and movement of goods to optimize efficiency.
- Inspect equipment regularly and coordinate with maintenance for repairs or servicing.
- Conduct training and refresher courses for forklift operators as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement, operator logs, and daily reports.
- Perform and assist in forklift operations during peak workloads or staff shortages.
- Evaluate operator performance and provide coaching or disciplinary actions when required.

Requirements:
- HND or equivalent; HSE certification is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in forklift operation, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory systems, and material handling.
