Job Description

As a Change Management Training Expert, you will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs to facilitate the adoption of a new system by stakeholders within the organization. Your role will involve assessing training needs, designing curriculum, and delivering engaging training sessions to ensure a smooth transition to the new technology and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Needs Assessment: Collaborate with project stakeholders to assess the training needs of employees affected by the implementation of the electronic cargo tracking system. Identify skill gaps, change readiness levels, and potential barriers to adoption through stakeholder interviews, surveys, and organizational assessments.
Curriculum Development: Design comprehensive training programs and materials tailored to the specific roles and responsibilities of different user groups within the organization. Develop training modules, presentations, job aids, and e-learning courses covering system functionalities, workflow changes, and best practices for using the tracking system effectively.
Training Delivery: Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions for employees at all levels of the organization, including operational staff, managers, and executives. Utilize a variety of training delivery methods, such as instructor-led training, workshops, webinars, and hands-on exercises, to accommodate different learning styles and preferences.
Change Communication: Develop and execute change communication plans to inform stakeholders about the implementation of the electronic cargo tracking system, its benefits, and the upcoming training initiatives. Deliver clear and consistent messaging through various communication channels to generate awareness and build support for the change.
Stakeholder Engagement: Establish relationships with key stakeholders and change champions within the organization to gain buy-in and advocacy for the new system. Solicit feedback, address concerns, and proactively address resistance to change through effective communication and change management strategies.
Training Evaluation: Conduct training evaluations to measure the effectiveness of training programs and assess the impact on user adoption and proficiency with the electronic cargo tracking system. Gather feedback from participants through surveys, focus groups, and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and refinement.
Continuous Improvement: Monitor industry trends, best practices, and user feedback to continuously improve training content, methods, and delivery approaches. Incorporate lessons learned from previous implementations to enhance the success of future change management initiatives within the organization.
Knowledge Transfer: Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions to empower employees to become self-sufficient users of the electronic cargo tracking system. Provide ongoing support, resources, and access to training materials to reinforce learning and promote continuous skill development.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Education, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Prosci Change Management, ATD Training Certificate) preferred.
Proven experience in change management, organizational development, or training and development roles, with a focus on technology adoption and system implementations.
General experience 7 years.
Special experience 5 years.
Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices, with experience applying them in real-world scenarios.
Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and create a positive learning environment.
Proficiency in instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and training delivery techniques.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, influence stakeholders, and drive organizational change.
Experience working in the logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry is a plus.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing business needs in a fast-paced environment.
