Overview
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organised and motivated stock supervisor to lead our stocking team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and accurate stocking of merchandise, maintaining a clean and organised backroom, and ensuring all team members adhere to safety and company policies. The stock supervisor will play a key role in inventory management and ensuring our sales floor is well stocked and visually appealing for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
. Supervise and train ,a team of stockers, providing guidance, feedback , and support.
. Develop and implement efficient stocking procedures to ensure merchandise is moved from the backroom to sales floor in a timely manner.
. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with management to place orders and manage stock rotation.
. Troubleshoot and resolve stocking and inventory issues as they arise
. Perform periodic performance with team members.
. Ensure all team members follow company policies, including those related to safety, security, and attendance.
QUALIFICATION;
High school diploma or equivalent associate’s or bachelor’s degree is a plus
2-3 years experience in retail, warehouse, or similar environment, with at least years in supervisory or lead role.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform tasks for extended periods.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stood for extended periods.
Comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
