Overview
Position: Biomedical Engineer – Hospital
Location: Vadodara
Experience: 1–2 Years (Hospital Experience Preferred)
Qualification: B.E / B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering
Key Responsibilities:
* Equipment Installation & Commissioning:
Install, configure, and commission biomedical equipment ensuring proper functionality
and adherence to manufacturer guidelines.
* Calibration & Maintenance:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of medical devices such as patient
monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, defibrillators, analyzers, and other hospital
equipment.
* Troubleshooting & Repairs:
Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize equipment downtime and
ensure uninterrupted hospital operations.
* Safety & Performance Checks:
Conduct regular safety inspections, performance verification, and compliance testing as
per NABH and hospital standards.
* Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, calibration,
and performance activities performed on equipment.
* Vendor Coordination:
Liaise with equipment vendors and service providers for spare parts, AMC, and warranty
support.
* User Support & Training:
Provide operational training and technical support to medical and nursing staff on the
safe use of biomedical equipment.
* Compliance & Quality:
Ensure adherence to hospital policies, biomedical engineering protocols, and regulatory
requirements.
Skills Required:
* Strong understanding of biomedical equipment and hospital systems
* Knowledge of AMC, PM Reports, and NABH documentation
* Problem-solving and analytical skills
* Good communication and coordination abilities
* Proficiency in MS Office and reporting too
