Overview
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing forklift trucks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on forklifts.
- Perform routine maintenance inspections, and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Maintain detailed service records and reports.
- Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to minimize equipment downtime.
- Recommend necessary parts replacements and upgrades.
Requirements:
- OND/Trade Test in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years hand-on experience maintaining forklifts and related material handling equipment.
- Proven experience as a forklift technician or related role.
- Strong knowledge of forklift mechanics, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
