Job Description: Airport Manager for MalaikAir Miami International Airport, Miami, Florida, USA
Position Overview:
MalaikAir, a leading airline, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Airport Manager to oversee its operations at Miami International Airport. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of MalaikAir’s operations, ensuring efficient and smooth airport operations, exceptional customer service, and compliance with regulatory requirements. The Airport Manager will play a crucial role in representing MalaikAir’s brand and maintaining strong relationships with airport authorities, vendors, and other stakeholders. Responsibilities:
1. Airport Operations Management:
• Oversee and manage all operational aspects of MalaikAir at Miami International Airport, ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day operations.
• Coordinate and collaborate with various airport stakeholders, including airport authorities, ground handling services, security agencies, and
customs and immigration.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with airport regulations, safety standards, and security protocols.
2. Customer Service Excellence:
• Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service to passengers, including efficient check-in processes, timely boarding, and smooth baggage
handling.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance the passenger experience, addressing customer feedback and resolving any issues promptly and effectively.
• Foster a customer-centric culture among airport staff, emphasizing the importance of delivering a positive and memorable travel experience.
3. Stakeholder Relationship Management:
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with airport authorities, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure a cooperative and productive working environment.
• Collaborate with airport authorities on matters related to operations, facilities, security, and any necessary permits or licenses.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and service providers, ensuring high-quality services and cost efficiency.
4. Resource Planning and Management:
• Develop and implement resource planning strategies to ensure adequate staffing levels, equipment, and facilities to support MalaikAir’s
operations.
• Monitor and manage budgets, expenses, and financial performance related to airport operations, identifying areas for cost optimization and
efficiency improvements.
• Provide leadership and guidance to airport staff, fostering a positive work culture, and promoting teamwork, collaboration, and professional development.
5. Emergency Preparedness and Safety:
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of passengers, employees, and airport facilities.
• Coordinate with relevant authorities and agencies to conduct drills, training programs, and exercises to enhance emergency preparedness and response capabilities.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, regulations, and technological advancements related to airport safety and security.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business Admin, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Extensive experience (8+ years) in airport operations management, preferably in a leadership role at a major international airport.
• In-depth knowledge of airport operations, aviation regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
• Strong understanding of customer service principles and a track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse workforce.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with airport authorities, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Proven experience in resource planning, budget management, and cost optimization.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations and make timely and effective decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment and the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Knowledge of relevant airport management software and systems.
